Clean House

I like to think that I keep a moderately clean house. Sure, laundry isn't always caught up and the boys do throw toys all over the house, but for the most part, there is a balanced level of "lived-in" and "cleanliness."

That is . . . until I go to someone's house who has a literally CLUTTER-free and beautifully decorated home. Then the bleach-toting, spray-and-wipe side bubbles up inside of me and I start making lists of all the mini-projects that need to get done.

I will say that this last month, my house has not been to my standards. We've had company five out of seven nights of the week each week and the few containers of post-yard-sale items haven't been sorted. I haven't taken the coupon inserts out of three weeks of Sunday papers and it is driving me bonkers.

Also, I haven't figured out a way to keep the entertainment center from being the drop-off point when we get home for keys, mail, receipts, etc.

So, this week before I leave for Dallas for a few days of girl-time and jewelry, I'll be posting about my projects, and hopefully, they will all get done.
