hospital scare

I thought my fluid was leaking today so I used a sample of an AMNIOpad that they gave me. It basically has a liner that will stay blue after 30 minutes if there is amniotic fluid present. I have used this twice previously and each time the liner returns to yellow. This time, however, it did not.

So, we went to the hospital and I was hooked up to monitors. The baby looks great and that's wonderful! The worst part is the actual exam where they check me and eeek . . . it hurts! No fluid was present, so no baby today. If there was fluid, we were going to have the baby today and my mom would have had to sacrifice her writing conference which I did not want her to have to do. 

I also realized the many numerous tasks that I was going over in my mind when I thought we might be admitted today that need to be done around the house. Tomorrow will be a very busy day. :)

So anyway, we're fine. We're home. We're tired. 

Sooooooo tired.
