I should have trusted my gut.
Two seconds later, Jeremy looks up at me and I see the result of what should have happened on the potty.
I pulled Jeremy out, called to Justin (I love that he's home when this happens!) and made Jeremy sit on the potty.
However, Jeremy stood next to the tub, pointed and said, "Mommy, there's a hotdog in there!"
