Sicky

My poor little baby isn't feeling well. He has the sniffles and has started coughing. It might be going around. My friend's baby is sick, too, but she's only 4 1/2 months old and I was thinking how hard it is to have a sick baby versus a sick toddler.

Jeremy can tell me what he wants and I can direct him to "sit still while I suck your nose" or I can make the Nose Sucker into a fun little game to distract him, which is what I usually do. With an infant, all they know is they can't breathe well, don't feel well, and mommy and daddy keep shoving something big up their nose.

Jeremy had a good time at church today. It was the Ministry Faire and he got to play with all the kids in the gym for a while. We got home around 1:45 or so and as we pulled onto our street, Justin asked me, "Is he sleeping?"

I turned around and sure enough, his little mouth had dropped open and his eyes were tightly shut. We got home and Justin gently lifted him out of his carseat and took him inside. He's still sleeping, although he woke up a couple of times.

My little sweetheart.
