1st stop: Old Navy
$1 flip flops -- YES! Stocked up for me and Jeremy and bought him new pj's on sale.
Took our receipt from 2 weeks ago to see if what we had bought then was now on sale and it was! We received $4.78 back! I've been taking my receipt back to Old Navy within the two week time period that they will refund the new sale price and I think in total, we've received over $50 back over the last 2-3 months. I never used to take my receipts in to see if what I had bought had been marked down, but I am faithful now!
2nd stop: CVS (Windy will be proud of me!)
I bought ONLY things we needed and things I got Extra Care Bucks (ECB) for.
$20 of Charmin and Bounty = $10 FREE ECBs
Aussie Hair product = $2 ECBs
Mitchum Deodorant = $1 ECB
The Charmin (12 double rolls) was originally $9.29. Because I have a CVS card, I received the price of $5.99, which is cheaper than Angel Soft at Sweetbay, which is now $6.19. So, I purchased 3 packs of Charmin and 1 pack of Bounty 8 count paper towels to get my $20 in those products so I can get $10 back in ECBs!
My total came to $25.62 for all the things I listed above because I used $6 in ECB's I had gotten from the last CVS trip.
I saved $19.10.
I received $13 in ECB for my next CVS trip! This is SO great!!!
