Lori's Amazing Meatball and Ravioli Dinner
If you are going to have a big group, DOUBLE everything. It freezes well ifthere are leftovers.
1 bag frozen ravioli or stuffed rigatoni (I can usually find the rigatoni atSuperTarget) If I'm doubling, I buy one bag of cheese ravioli and one bagbeef ravioli1-2 jars spaghetti sauce (if I don't make homemade, I buy Bertolli!)1 bag frozen meatballs (I like Armour!)1 large bag shredded mozzeralla (3 cups or more!)
Put a thin layer of sauce on bottom of dish.Make a ring around the outside of the dish with the meatballs. Then one layer of ravioli, one layer of sauce (enough to cover pasta, onethin layer of cheese. Repeat until you run out of pasta. Top layer shouldbe sauce and a thicker layer of cheese. I always make sure the meatballsare covered with sauce so they don't get dry.Cover with foil, bake on high about an hour at 375. Take foil off and bakeanother 20 minutes.
I usually serve this with garlic bread or Texas toast and big ole salad.
Thank you to Kelley for passing it on to me and thanks to Lori for making it up!
